Betty Comstock age 89 of Webb City passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Webb City Health & Rehab.
She was born on June 20, 1928 in Kiowa, Kansas to Rollie Wright and Josephine Coberley. Betty was a Real Estate Agent owning Cecil J. Veatch Real Estate Agency and also an Insurance Broker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Carterville.
Betty was married to J.D. Comstock and he preceded her in death on August 1, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, and 4 brothers.
Betty is survived by her sons, Larry Comstock and wife Patty of Virginia, Jerry Comstock of Webb City; daughters, Terri McFarland of Webb City, Sherri Halvorson of Denver, Colorado; step-daughter, Lynda Pemberton and husband Bob of Louisville, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; a sister, Jo Ray and husband Mendon of Joplin; and a brother, David D. Wright.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home of Webb City with Pastor Darren Wallace officiating. The family will be present for a visitation on Friday from 6:00 Pm to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Saginaw Cemetery.
