Treva Williams

Mrs. Treva Fern Williams, 88, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.

Treva entered this life on March 27, 1929, one of nine children born to late Seba Allen and Ida May (Proctor) Jones. She was born and raised in the Bethpage Community in rural McDonald County Missouri. On May 23, 1946, in Columbus, Kansas, she was united in marriage to Manvel Williams and to this union four children were born. Treva was a devoted homemaker and farmer throughout her life, working alongside her husband in the operation of their dairy farm. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, fishing and believed in a hard day's work. She was a member of the Union Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of fifty-three years, Manvel Williams on March 23, 2000; and all eight of her siblings.

Treva is survived by her four children, Dave Williams of Leander, Texas, Gary Williams of Goodman, Missouri, Charlotte Bunn and husband, Mark, of Anderson, Missouri and Kelly Williams and wife, Karen, of Powell, Missouri; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will be held graveside on Monday, February 12, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at the Union Cemetery.
