Clint Williams

Charles Clinton Williams (Clint) 88 of Iantha, MO passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at Truman Healthcare. 

 Clint was born at home in Iantha, February 28, 1929 to Carl and Esther (Brown) Williams. He was a 1947 graduate of Liberal High School where he played basketball for the Bulldogs. He served in the United States Army from 1951-1956. 

Clint married Erma Lee LeVaugh May 19, 1956 in Iantha. She preceded him in death June 10, 2001. Clint and Erma lived and raised three children in Iantha. Clint was a farmer and had worked and retired from O’Sullivan Industries. He took an active interest in his community by being on the MFA Coop, Liberal School and Central Township Boards leaving a lasting impact with his leadership. Clint attended his childrens games and activities at Liberal. He then would be cheering on his grandchildren and attending their activities. He was a member and attended Iantha United Methodist Church. Surviving are his children; Brenda Reynolds, Brian (Heather) Williams, and Brad Williams, six grandchildren; Carlie (Scott) Brown, Chelsie (Vance) Griffin, Grace Williams, Peyton Williams, Justin (Lynae) Reynolds and Cole Williams, six great-grandchildren; Cash and Swayzie Brown, Finley and Logan Griffin, Jakeb and Hunter Reynolds. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Frank and Max, sisters Marguerite Wheeler and Jean Green.

Donation in lieu of flowers is suggested to Iantha Methodist Church Building Fund in care of the funeral home.
