Freddie Lee Stewart, age 75, passed away at 2:12 pm, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Joplin, MO following an illness.
Freddie was born March 8, 1942 in Joplin, MO. His parents were Fred and Velma (Herrelson) Stewart.
He graduated from Galena High School with the class of 1960. He entered the U S Air Force on February 7, 1961 and served until June 12, 1964. He worked as a dealer in Las Vegas Nevada casino until his retirement in 2002. When he moved to Grove, Oklahoma.
Surviving are two sons, Eric Stewart, Las Vegas, NV, and Eric Stewart (wife, Lisa), Easatvale, CA; fiancé, Shirley Keyes, Grove, OK; one brother, Ron Stewart, Lake Havasu, NV; one sister, Dian Murphy, Knoxville, TN; and three grandchildren, Erika Stewart, Kyle Stewart, and Cali Stewart.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 7:00 pm, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena, KS.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery, Galena, KS. Pastor Jeff D Martin will officiate.
