Sally Bond

Audrey M. ‘Sally’ Bond, 95 of Goodman, MO, entered into rest on Feb. 23, 2018 at Freeman West, following an illness since December, 2017. 

 Sally was born July 26, 1922 in Anderson, MO, the daughter of Audie and Cora (Chase) Eppard. She was a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Anderson High School. Sally was a homemaker and enjoyed being in her home, baking, gardening, crocheting and she was an accomplished seamstress. She was an avid birdwatcher and of the Baptist faith. 

 Sally married James Paul Bond on April 1, 1942 in Joplin and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2005. She is survived by two children, Mary Bond of San Francisco, CA and Larry Bond of Rocky Comfort; two granddaughters, Lori Drinnon and Courtney Weaver and three great grandchildren, Justin Drinnon, Tyler Drinnon and Morgan Drinnon. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by five siblings.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018 at 2 pm at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Gary Bond, Dale Bond, Dale Eppard, Justin Drinnon and Tyler Drinnon. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1 pm until service time at the funeral home prior to the service.
