Robert A. Rule, age 63, of Joplin, passed away Sunday February 11, 2018, at Mercy Hospital, following an illness.
Robert was born on February 16, 1954 in St. Louis, Mo., the son of the late Harold D. and Doris (Thomure) Rule. He married Barbara Wilson on August 21, 1982 and together they raised two children. He worked as a machinist for McDonnell Douglas and Boeing. He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Black Jack, Mo.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Rule, Joplin; one son, Michall Rule, Joplin; one daughter, Krista Waite and husband Matthew, Joplin; one brother, Terry Rule, St. Louis, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
Robert has been cremated with service to be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
