Roger Lee Olson, age 86 of Jasper, Missouri passed away Friday February 16, 2018 following several months of declining health.
He was born November 11, 1931 in Minooka, Illinois to Harley and Gertrude (Worthington) Olson.
Roger served in the United States Army. He worked as a LPN at several area long term nursing facilities, as well as being a truck driver and a mechanic. He attended Christ’s Church of Oronogo. Roger enjoyed reading, working jigsaw and crossword puzzles and collecting miniature horses.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and nine siblings.
Roger is survived by his longtime friend Nancy Myers and three siblings.
Following his wishes he will be cremated and inurned at the Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri at a later date.
