Mr. W. David Johnson, 76, of Goodman, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
David entered this life on July 19, 1943, in Sevierville, Tennessee, son of the late Jannie Juanita Johnson.
He married Karen Ann Jenkins on August 28, 1963 in Los Alamos, New Mexico. He owned DJ's Painting Company and was a very hard worker. David loved his wife and family very much. He cherished time spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Karen Johnson; a brother, Jimmy Headrick.
David is survived by his children, Denise Moore of Marionville, Missouri and Dawna Brady of Goodman, Missouri; grandchildren, Crystal Doyle, Winston Brady, William Moore; great grandchildren, Matthew and Kaleb Doyle, Coleman Brady, Rylynn Brady; granddaughter-in-law, Misti Brady; several nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends who will dearly miss David.
Graveside funeral services are 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, at the Banner Cemetery in Goodman, Missouri. Pastor Marilyn O’Brien will officiate.
