Dale G. “Pete” Richards, 82, Neosho, MO entered into rest December 25, 2019. He was born September 26, 1937 in Neosho to Elza and Ethel (Hugoboom) Richards.
Pete was a US Army veteran, serving in the Military Police. He was a member of the Diamond Christian Church. Pete worked as a laborer for Farmland Industries. He enjoyed farming, his cattle, and being with his grandson.
Pete and Mable (Baker) Richards were married February 2, 1974 in Granby, MO; she preceded him in death on May 13, 2018.
Pete is survived by his children, Crystal Brackett and husband, Nat of Carl Junction, MO and Harry Clark and wife, Patsy of Peel, AR; two brothers, Lee Richards and wife, Carol and Rusty Richards, all of Neosho, MO; one sister Ruth Ann Wilson of Neosho; and one grandson, Oliver Brackett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his spouse, and three sisters, Marion Hopper, Mildred McCracken, and Bobbie Richards.
A memorial visitation will be held from 9 am until 10 am on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Neosho, MO with memorial services following at 10 am. Interment will be at Gibson Cemetery, Neosho. To honor Pete, contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, MO 64850.
