Larry Marshall

Larry Lewis Marshall, 81 of Greenfield, MO, departed this life on Thursday, December 19, 2019, at his home.

Larry was born September 8, 1938 to Richard and Thelma Marshall in Greenfield. He graduated from Greenfield High School in 1957. Larry was married to Judith Ann Barker of Greenfield on September 10, 1960. He retired after working 21 years with MoDOT in 1997.

Larry was a member of First Christian Church in Greenfield for more than 50 years, serving as a deacon for many of those years. He was a gentle Christian man, who loved his family deeply, and could often be found in his shop with his passion of woodworking making his creations for family and friends.

Larry was preceded in death by his father and mother Richard and Thelma Marshall, and his sister-in-law Ann Marshall, all of South Greenfield.








He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Judy Marshall; a sister, Dixie Small and husband Willard of Lockwood; a brother, Jerry Marshall of South Greenfield; his children, Tammy Hardiman and husband Wade of Ash Grove and Connie Little and husband John of Stantonville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Sarah Abbott and friend Ryan McGehee of Everton, Jennifer Noatch and husband Matt of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kelly Palmer and husband Matt of Walnut Grove, Julianne Ratliff and husband Josh of Adamsville, Tennessee, and Matthew Abbott of Walnut Grove; his great grandchildren, Easton Palmer, Oliver Palmer, Aiden Palmer, Drake Ratliff, Annabelle Ratliff, and Kailynn Noatch. He also leaves behind nephews, nieces, cousins, and special friends.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 23, 2019, in Pennsboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the funeral chapel.
