Roger Goff

Roger Lee Goff, age 70, of Anderson, Missouri passed away on Thursday December 12, 2019 at the Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Roger was born on November 17, 1949 at Jane, Missouri to the late Jesse and Georgia (Kirch) Goff. He married Lisa Porter on September 12, 1971 in Jane, Missouri and to this union three children were born. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army serving in Vietnam War. He worked in construction for Lena Pope Home in Fort Worth, Texas and for Porter Construction. Roger enjoyed fishing and gardening, in which he shared his bounty of vegetables with lots of friends and neighbors. He was well respected and admired and was a best friend to many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Gabriel Goff; siblings, Bobby Goff, Kenneth Goff, Bill Goff and Eulah Walker.








Roger is survived by his wife, Lisa Goff of the home; two children, Jeffrey Goff and wife, Kristi of Bulverde, Texas, Teresa Akehurst and husband, Greg of Anderson, Missouri; four siblings, Jackie W. “Sonny” Goff of Watts, Oklahoma, Mary L. Goff of Enid, Oklahoma, Lilly B. Olson of Neosho, Missouri, Dollie M. Blevins of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Dakota Payne, Amber Morgan, Luke Akehurst, Abigail Akehurst and Hudson Goff; a great grandchild, Anderson Payne; as well as a host of relatives and friends who will dearly miss Roger.

Funeral services for Mr. Roger Goff will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home with Paul Keel officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Ozark Funeral Home in Anderson.
