David Norris

David Wayne Norris, 66, Neosho, MO entered into rest December 13, 2019. David was born August 7, 1953 in Neosho to Jack and Mildred (Tanner) Norris.

He served in the National Guard and was the owner/operator of Norris Trucking. David was a member of the Shoal Creek Revival Church. He loved his grandchildren, being “Papa” to all the kids at church, and trucks. 

David and Carolyn (Reardon) Norris were married August 21, 1970 in Neosho; she survives of the home. 








He is also survived by three children, Angie Parrett and husband, Jared, Melissa Farley and husband, Rusty, and Jacob Wayne Norris, all of Neosho; ten grandchildren, Brenyn Norris and wife, Keila, David Norris and wife, Katelynn, Sidney Norris, Andre Parrett, Alyssa Sanders, Blake Norris, Gracie Norris, Bentlee Farley, Ian Norris, and Izzy Norris; one great grandchild, Tanner; two sisters, Jo Gary and husband, Larry of Neosho and Nania Norris of Granby. 

David was preceded in death by his parents; an infant brother; one son, Bubby; and one granddaughter, Lauren. 

Services will be 10 am, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Shoal Creek Revival Church, Granby with Pastor Billy Ray Harvill officiating. Interment will follow at Granby Memorial Cemetery, Granby. Jared Parrett, Rusty Farley, Darrell Gary, Terrell Gary, Ronnie Gary, and Willie Brooks will serve as pallbearers. 

A time of visitation will be 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2019 at Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO. Contributions in honor of David may be made to SCRC\Haiti, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 26; Granby, MO 64844.
