(From Clark Funeral Home)Margaret Marie Kimmons, 67, Diamond, MO passed away February 4, 2021. Margaret was born December 2, 1953 in Tokyo, Japan to Fumiko Ito and Gordon Lester.
She had worked for Lucky’s Warehouse as a security guard while living in California and later, worked for McDonald’s and Hardees and as a pharmacy tech at St. John’s Hospital in Joplin. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter; she was an animal lover; and enjoyed gardening and flowers.
Margaret married David Lee Kimmons on August 14, 1982 in Garden Grove, CA; the family moved to southwest Missouri area in 1988.

In addition to her husband, Margaret is survived by her mother, Fumiko Lester Wachi of Huntington Beach, CA; two children, Michael Ian Johnson and wife, Christina of Neosho, MO and Jason Ito Kimmons of Diamond, MO; two sisters, Nora Sharp and Eva Zion both of California; and one granddaughter, Victoria Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, Richie; and one sister, Terri.
