(From Parker Mortuary)Mark Ray Covey, age 55, passed away on May 26, 2024 in Joplin, MO. He was born on May 9, 1969, in Carl Junction, MO, to the late Howard Lee Covey and Bonnie (Moran) Covey.
Mark was a skilled craftsman in the autobody industry. His hands were rarely still, as he found joy in working on cars, boats, and planes. His ability to fix and improve anything mechanical was nothing short of remarkable.
Mark's interests were as vast as the open waters he loved to fish. He was always ready to lend a helping hand. His generosity extended beyond his immediate circle, as he was always looking for ways to support and uplift others. He adored his grandchildren and was known as the “fun uncle.”
He is survived by his children, Kelsey Allen and Keyara Covey; grandchildren, Christopher Kelton Palmer, Kysyn Osborn, Andreis Duke, and Zaylen Duke; siblings, Clifford Trewin and Debbie McReynolds.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direct care of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, MO.
