Katherine L. Clutts, age 72, of Joplin, passed away on Tuesday December 22, 1943, at the Communities of Wildwood, following an illness.
Katherine was born on December 12, 1943 in Joplin, the daughter of the late George and Letha (Willoughby) Dalton. She has been a lifelong area resident. She was a member of Christ’s Church of Oronogo. She was the manager of the Riviera Motel until retiring in 2011.
She is survived by one son, Steven Clutts and wife Susan, Pierce City, Mo.; two brothers, George Dalton, Arkansas City, Ks, and David Dalton, Joplin; one sister, Linda Candelaria, Joplin; three grandchildren, Brittney Bull, Joplin, Lacy Christian, Bella Vista, AR., and Stephanie Clutts, Kansas City, Mo.; and four great-grandchildren Damon Christian, Dylan Christian, Desteny Christian, and Brennen Kropp. She was preceded in death by two sons, Ricky Wayne Clutts in 1990, and Denny Clutts in 1989; one brother, Kenneth Wayne Dalton; and two sisters, Sue Florentine and Margaret Erskin.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mason-Woodard Chapel. Len Clevenger, Minister will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
