Michael ‘Mike’ Ray Denefrio, 71, Neosho, died December 30, 2015 at Freeman West Hospital, following a short illness.
Mike was born October 29, 1944 in Neosho, the son of Patsy Michael and DeWayne (Hopkins) Denefrio. He was a lifelong area resident and a real estate agent for Homefinder’s Real Estate. He loved to farm, hunt, fish and spend time with his grandchildren and was a member of the Rocketdyne Road Church of Christ.
Mike married Euleda Lankford on June 6, 1965 at Neosho and she survives. Additional survivors include a son, Jeff Denefrio of Ardmore, OK; a daughter, Vicki Wargo and husband, Jason of McGuire Air Force Base, New Jersey; daughter in law, Shirl Denefrio of Ardmore, OK; three grandchildren, Ryan Denefrio, Logan McDowell and Lauren Denefrio; two brothers, Richard Denefrio and wife, Calleen of Neosho and David Denefrio of Overland Park, KS and a sister, Patricia Evans and husband, Earl of Gloucester, VA. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Carole Scribner.
