Rose Buening, 77, of rural Joplin, Missouri, passed away at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the Sarcoxie Nursing Center in Sarcoxie, Missouri.
She was born October 14, 1938, the daughter of Walter John and Theresa (Colles) Blanken. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School.
On January 13, 1962, she was united in marriage to Marvin Buening at Miami, Oklahoma. He survives at the family home. In addition to her husband, Marvin, she is survived by a brother, Walter John Blanken and his wife, Judy of Pittsburg; three sisters, Kay Nason and her husband, Ralph of Huntington Beach, California, Connie Webber of Wichita, KS, and Vickey Neeland and her husband, Dennis of Stilwell, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, (December 11) at the Garden of Memories Cemetery with Rev. Jim Sukraw officiating. Online condolences may be left at www.brennermortuary.com.
