Micayla E. Christenson, age 18, of Joplin, passed away on December 7, 2015, from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident.
Micayla was born on September 10, 1997 in Joplin, Mo. She was a senior at Joplin High School. She was a Mormon.
Micayla is survived by her mother, Sarah (Poteet) Smith of Sarasota, Fl.; her father, Raymond Smith, of Brandenton, Fl.; one brother, Raymond Smith, of Brandenton, Fl.; and her maternal grandmother, Annette Barbour, of Sarasota, Fl.
A memorial visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Thursday at Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory.
