Rosetta C. Wheeler, 90, Granby, died December 26, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, following a short illness.
She was born November 5, 1925 in Granby, Missouri, the daughter of Perry and Cora (Youngblood) Whittaker. She was a lifelong resident of the Newtonia-Granby area and a member of the Nazarene Church. Rosetta had worked for Granby Manufacturing from 1954 until 1960 and following that she was a homemaker and loved to garden. She married Houston Wheeler and he preceded her in death in 1991. Rosetta is survived by one son, Ronnie Wheeler and wife, Karen of Granby; her twin brother, Perry Whittaker; one sister, Louella Williams; two grandchildren, Nathan Wheeler and Tia Wheeler and five great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Rosetta is preceded in death by her parents.
