Roy Lee Dowell, 68, Granby, died December 28, 2015 at his home in Granby, following an extended illness.
Roy was born Feb. 14, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Army and was a truck driver and automobile dealer.
He is survived by his companion of 24 years, Linda Mung; three sons, Mike Dowell, Brian Dowell and Rick Dowell; three brothers, Larry Dowell, Marvin Davis and Lloyd Davis, Sr.; five sisters, Patricia Clark, Teresa Snow, Donna Davis, Mary Kavanaugh and Cathy Bradley; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
