She was born on March 3, 1937 in Lockwood, MO to Simon Elbert and Ruby (Coble) Mabee. Joan graduated from Lockwood High School.
She was united in marriage to Paul Louis Daniel on July 31, 1955 in Lockwood, MO. Joan was always willing to lend a helping hand, was notorious for helping a stranger. She was a hard worker, and liked to volunteer in her community. Joan enjoyed cooking at The Crossing in Lockwood.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Elbert and Ruby Mabee; and her husband, Paul Daniel.
Survivors include two sons, Mark Daniel of Sunray, TX and Bryan Daniel and wife Carmen of Robertsdale, AL; one daughter, Paula Brisco and husband Mike of Lockwood; two brothers, Arley Mabee and wife Stella of Lockwood, MO and Donald Mabee and wife Sharlene of Lockwood, MO; one sister, Bonnie Kleeman and husband Stanley of Lockwood, MO; four grandchildren, Logan Daniel, Roper Daniel, Audrey Daniel, and Canyon Chebahtah; one great-grandchild, Morgan Daniel; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
No services are planned as per Joan’s request. Memorial contributions may be made to The Crossing in Lockwood. Cremation services are under the care of Lockwood Funeral Chapel.
