Lee Bath

Leanna Cecilia Bath, 80, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Freeman Hospital.

Lee was born September 24, 1939, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Angeline Hansen. Lee grew up on the south side of Chicago before moving with her husband, Dave to Riverside, California. The family moved to the Joplin area over 25 years ago.

Lee was a homemaker and loved getting to spend time with her children. She was very proud of her Christian faith. She loved Jesus and would often volunteer her time by helping to clean the church and participating with craft projects for the nursery and vacation bible school. She was a member of Calvary Chapel of Joplin.

Lee loved sewing, knitting, baking and spending time with her fur babies, Itty Bitty, Houdini and Minnie. Her church family was very dear to her heart. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. 








On October 26, 1957, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Lee was united in marriage to David Theodore Bath. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2012.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Bath, Kevin Bath and wife Necia, Diana Bath and husband Stephen H. Turner, Ted Bath, Chris Bath, Dan Bath; grandchildren Ryan Bath and wife Danielle, Jenny Bath; great grandchildren Bryce Bath and Chance Thier; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 21, 2020, at Calvary Chapel of Joplin with Pastor Jeff Kingery officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City.

Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin, Missouri.
