Antonio Barron Ledezma

Antonio Barron Ledezma, age 65, of Joplin, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Freeman West in Joplin.

Antonio was born June 13, 1956 in Covadonga Municipio de San Luis de la Paz, Mexico, to the late Vicente Barron Vazquez and Eusevia (Ledezma Villejas) Barron Vazquez. He worked as a Safety Trainer and Translator for over 25 years at Butterball.

On September 23, 2005 Antonio was united in marriage to Gloria Hernandez-Mendez and together they shared 15 years before his passing. Together they had three lovely children, Macximina, Cecilia, and Edgar.








Antonio was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City. He enjoyed playing soccer, as well as watching his favorite team, Cruz Azul. If he wasn’t playing or watching soccer you would find Antonio gardening tomatoes and chili peppers, which he took great pride in. Antonio was a fun, friendly, and generous man that never met a stranger. He loved helping people whenever the opportunity arose. He loved listening to music and occasionally you would find him singing along. Antonio was a jokester and could make anyone laugh. He leaves behind his favorite dog, Coco.

Antonio is lovingly survived by his wife, Gloria Barron; three children, Macximina Barron, Cecilia Barron-Hernandez, and Edgar Sosa Hernandez; and a niece, Yolanda Barron.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Webb City with Reverend Francisco "Paco" Gordillo officiating. Interment will follow at Ozark Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Funeral arrangements are under the special care and direction of Parker Mortuary.
