Olive Honeycutt

Olive Lugene Honeycutt, age 73, of Neosho, Missouri, entered into rest at 11:50 p.m. on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born March 30, 1948, in Anthony, Kansas, the daughter of the late Lee H. May and Fay (Teitlebaum) Hawkins. 

On January 11, 1985, she married Harold Honeycutt in Louisville, Kentucky. 










While living in Louisville, she worked for Boeing Aircraft in the Human Resource Department. Lugene and Harold moved to Neosho in 1990, and she worked for Talbot Wire as a Human Resource Specialist, retiring in 2017. She loved embroidering and spending time with her family and her pets.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Harold, two sons, Randy Brewer and Danny Brewer and his wife, Lisa, of Nashville, Tennessee; one daughter, Ashley Rosequist and her husband, Tony, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one sister, Nikki Anderson of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Bill May and his wife, Jean, of Texas; and seven grandchildren, Cori, Drew, Beau, Lexi, Hadley, Dexter, and Emmett.

The Clark Funeral Home has conducted local arrangements. Memorial donations in memory of Lugene may be made to Faithful Friends c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66, Neosho, MO 64850.
