Kay Scott

Kay F. Scott, 79, died at home on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, September 20 at Iles Westover Chapel, concluding with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, September 21 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Burial will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 22 at Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport.

Kay was born on May 16, 1942 in Webb City, MO to Lawrence and Vivian (Norman) Dunlap. She graduated from Webb City High School in 1960. 








She met William H. Scott in Kansas City, and they were married in Webb City in 1964. Bill served in the Air Force until 1967, and they made their home in the Davenport, Norwalk and Urbandale areas. She worked as an accountant for De Lage Landen (formerly Massey Ferguson) for 38 years, retiring in 2007.

Kay was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and its Altar and Rosary Society, the Harmonettes and sang in the Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed traveling to all 50 states, as well as Holland, Japan, Guam, Panama and several other countries.

Those left to cherish Kay’s memory include her husband, Bill of Urbandale; daughter, Kimberly (Scott) Keister of Anamosa; and four grandchildren, Shea, Braeden, Callan and Liam. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Russell; sister, Norma Mayes and infant sister, Becki.
