Jim Stout

Mr. Jimmie Floyd “Jim” Stout, 94, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Saturday, September 18, 2021, in the comfort of his home with his loving family by his side.

He was born on December 17, 1926, in Calumet, Oklahoma, son of the late Joseph Franklin and Hattie Harriet (Wilkerson) Stout. He began working at the flour mill in El Reno, Oklahoma in 1939, at the age of thirteen. He married Leota Faye Jones on December 14, 1946 and they had five children. Jim and his family moved to Anderson, Missouri, in 1962 where they began operating a dairy farm. Jim enjoyed farming, fishing, trips with his sons, grandsons and great grandsons and the Stout Family Reunions at his farm.








He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leota Stout on May 10, 2015; a son, Jackie; and siblings, Dorothy Petry, Ruth Albers, Arminda Malone, Milton Stout, Wesley Stout, J.T. Jake Stout and Sara Mae O’Neill.

Jim is survived by his four children, Jimmy Dewayne Stout, Sharon Wylie and husband, Pat, Pam Hobbs and husband, Tommy and Tim Stout; grandchildren, Jimmy Dewayne Stout, Jr. and wife, Shelli, Jeff Stout and wife, Dana, Angie Gadient and husband, Ed, Pattie Gilliland and husband, Doug and Cindy Williams and husband, Randy; great grandchildren, Jenna Stout, Dustin Stout, Jessica McAfee and husband, Garrett, Jeffrey Stout and wife, Abby, Janelle Stout, Wylie Hayes, Michael Gadient and Tristen Williams; a great-great grandchild, Barrett Stout; a sister, Bess Smith; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Peace Valley Cemetery in Anderson with Pastor Clyde McClean officiating. Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Stout, Jr., Jeffrey Stout, Jeffrey Stout, Jr., Wylie Hayes, Tristen Williams and Michael Gadient.
