(From Mason-Woodard Mortuary)Juanita M. Allgood, age 72, passed away peacefully Monday, September 20, 2021.
Juanita was born February 23rd,1949 in Joplin. and was a life long resident.
She was a 1967 graduate of Seneca High School.
Juanita married the love of her life, Thomas Allgood, on May 24th 1968 in Joplin and they celebrated over 53 years before her passing.
Along with her husband, Juanita is survived by two sons; Steve Allgood and wife Sandy of Joplin, Randy Allgood of Joplin; nine grandchildren, Amanda Anderson of St Joseph, Sammy Reeves of Joplin, Rebekah Liles and husband Max of Webb City, Patricia Swanson of Webb City, Logan Allgood of St. Louis, Shawn Whited of Grove Oklahoma, Cassidy Whited of Joplin, Bobby Whited of Springfield, and Laikyn Shari Smith of Grove Oklahoma; sister, Judy Van Meter of Gladewater TX; brother-in-law, John Allgood of Joplin; five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
She was proceeded in death by a sister, Flo Summerlin, and two sister in- laws, Phyllis Bates and Connie Allgood.
Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, in care of Mason Woodard Mortuary.
