Douglas Eugene Ferguson passed away on July 17, 2021, unexpectedly at 61 years old. Doug is survived by his children, Logan, Jerred, Roland, Amber, Penelope, Ian and Seth Ferguson; his grandson, Leon; his dad, Jerry Ferneau; brothers, Tim, Randy, Jason Ferguson and Jeff Ferneau. He is predeceased by his mother, Sharon Ferneau and his father, Earl Eugene Ferguson.
Doug was born on January 23rd, 1960, in Joplin, MO. He graduated from Memorial High School and Missouri Southern State College.
His passion was being a residential architect. He was a former Cadet at Joplin JROTC and a former Army Ranger Special Forces.
His children and siblings wish to have a celebration of their father, in lieu of funeral services, on October 2nd, 2021, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Leonard Park in Joplin, MO.
