(From Ulmer Funeral Home)Clara Lopez Hernandez, 44, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2021 in Chesterfield, Missouri. Clara was born August 11, 1977 in Guatemala, Coatepeque to Bernardino Lopez Chavez and Elena Hernandez Tevalan. She was a longtime resident of Carthage, Missouri. She was a homemaker and loved her family very much.
Clara and her long time partner, Freddy DeLeon were together for 19 years. He survives her.
Clara is survived by her longtime boyfriend, Freddy DeLeon, Carthage, Missouri; Her children, Kenia Macias and husband Gavino, Jason Lopez, Tracey DeLeon, Freida DeLeon, Chelsea DeLeon, and Anayensi DeLeon, all of Carthage, Missouri; one brother, Artermio Lopez Hernandez, Carthage, Missouri; and three sisters, Rosemery Lopez Hernandez, Floricelda Lopez Hernandez, and Maria Nicolasa Lopez Hernandez, all of Carthage, Missouri.
Clara is preceded in death by her parents, Bernardino Lopez Chavez and Elena Hernandez Tevalan.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Saint Ann’s Catholic Church, Carthage, Missouri.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Ulmer Funeral Home, Carthage, Missouri. There will also be a visitation held from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Friday, October 1, 2021 at Saint Ann’s Gymnasium, Carthage, Missouri. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Carthage, Missouri.
