Betty Jo Mitchell, 88, formerly of Carthage, Missouri passed away 6:00 p.m. on Sunday September 6th 2015 in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Betty was born on October 2nd 1926 to Ed Paugh and Florence LeMasters Paugh. Betty was retired from the Jasper County Missouri Assessor’s Office. She attended Fairview Christian Church.
Betty Jo Paugh was married to Don Mitchell February 1945. Don preceded her in death on February 24, 2003. Betty is survived by one daughter Wydonna Hall and husband John Hall of Saint Augustine, Florida, one son Wesley Mitchell and wife Judy Mitchell of Springfield Missouri, grandchildren, Kent Gaddy of Gravette, Arkansas, Kraig Gaddy of Saint Augustine, Florida, Wendi Brower of Springfield, Missouri, Chaudi De Werd of Springfield, Missouri, Dondi Walker of Kansas City, Missouri, and 2 great grandsons and 5 great granddaughters.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 12th 2015 at Ulmer Funeral Home Chapel in Carthage, Missouri. Burial will at Fasken Cemetery, Carthage Missouri. Contributions can be made to Fairview Christian Church through Ulmer Funeral Home. Online condolences can be made at www.ulmerfh.com.
