Mrs. Sonja Ruth Pitts, 85, of Anderson, Missouri, departed this life on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson, Missouri.
Sonja entered this life on March 8, 1932, in Schweinfurt, Germany, daughter of the late Joseph and Katy Rottmann. Sonja was a devoted housewife and mother. She was an avid gardener and loved working in her flowerbeds. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching her hummingbirds at the feeder and spending her summers at Beaver Lake. She was dearly loved and will be missed very much.
Sonja is survived by two daughters, Pam Tosh and husband, Richard, of Goodman, Missouri and Jutta Chiles and husband, Tommy, of Joplin; four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; as well as a host of other family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday evening February 6, 2018 from 6-8:00 p.m. in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes. On-line condolences may be sent to the family through our website, www.ozarkfuneralhome.com.
