Carrie Lou Miller, age 82, previously of Carthage, Missouri, passed away on December 5, 2019 at Robertsdale Health Care, Robertsdale, Alabama. Carrie and her twin sister, Clara Sue Robinson, were born August 12, 1937 in Aurora, Missouri to Byron (Barney) and Willie (Bill) Robinson.
Carrie graduated from Aurora High School, Aurora, Missouri in 1955 and Blue Bonnet Beauty School of Cosmetology, Springfield, Missouri in 1956.
Carrie is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Kay and Cy Myers; nephew, Scott Myers; niece, Kimberly Myers; two aunts, Jackie Fortner, and Anna Jean Cherry; many cousins and her special friends, Joann Shields and Betty and Don King.
Carrie was preceded in death by her husband, Tim Miller; twin sister, Clara Sue Robinson; parents, Barney and Bill Robinson; grandparents, Samuel and Clara Robinson and James and Carrie Toliver.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday December 11, 2019 at the Knell Mortuary Carthage, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until service time at the mortuary. Burial will be at the Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, Missouri.
Carrie married Donald D. (Tim) Miller on November 18, 1962 in Aurora, Missouri. They had no children, but claimed their nephew, Scott Myers and niece, Kimberly Myers as their grandchildren. She was a long-time resident of Carthage, Missouri, until moving to Alabama in December 2016 to be near her sister. While living in Carthage, she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage. Carrie loved life, people, nature, family, and God.
