Cathleen Kyler

Cathleen Suzanne Kyler, 60, Neosho, died Jan. 22, 2014 at her home in Neosho,
following a sudden illness.

Cathleen was born Nov. 29, 1953 in Monett, MO, the daughter of William ‘Bill’ and Frances (Cline) Daugherty. She graduated from Parkwood High School in Joplin in 1972 and then attended MSSU and moved to Neosho in 1993 from Joplin. She had been employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone as an operator and currently worked for Empire District Electric as a customer service representative. Cathleen enjoyed embroidery, photography and loved being with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Neosho.

Cathleen and Douglas Kyler were married on April 29, 1988 at Joplin and he survives. Other survivors include four children, Thomas Jarrett, Neosho; Christopher Jarrett, Neosho; Stephanie Kinsch and husband, Shawn, Baxter Springs, KS and Arica Robinson and husband, Kevin, Spring Hill, TN; nine grandchildren, Conner Jarrett, Addison Jarrett, Courtney Jarrett, Nicholas Kinsch, Ember Kinsch, Finley Robinson, Grayson Robinson, Silas Robinson and Kyler Robinson and five siblings, Patricia Daugherty, Joplin; Michael Daugherty and wife, Charlesea, Joplin; Bill Daugherty and wife, Paulette, Neosho; Sharee Woods and husband, Pat, Aurora and Shawn Daugherty, Joplin, as well as many nieces, nephews and a large extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents.
