(From Clark Funeral Home)Nellie Rose Alee Brown, 92, Grove, OK passed away September 29, 2020. She was born February 2, 1928 in Granby, MO to Olin and Alice (Mitchell) Bramdey.
Nellie worked as a sewing machine operator in the manufacturing industry. She loved sewing, cooking, and visiting with her family; her specialty was sugar cookies. Nellie was of the Baptist faith.
Nellie and George Edward Brown were married November 30, 1946; he preceded her in death on July 1, 1998. She is survived by her son, Phillip Brown.
Additional survivors include five grandchildren, Andrew, Benjamin, Chris, Connie Sue, and Amy; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Nellie was preceded in death by one daughter, Cherri Link and one brother, who passed at a young age.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, October 2, 2020 at Granby Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Phil Barber officiating. Friends may call at the Clark Funeral Home, Granby Chapel, Granby, MO on Thursday, October 1 from 9:00 am until 6:30 pm; formal visitation will be from 5:30 until 6:30 pm.
