(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Georgia Ruth O’Neal of Commerce, OK passed from this life Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Integris Miami Hospital in Miami, OK. She was 77.
Georgia was born January 29, 1945 in Miami, OK to Ira and Johnie (Montgomery) Whitecotton. She had lived in the Miami and Commerce area all her life. She had worked at J-M Farms in Miami, OK in the packing department. Georgia was a member of New Day Pentecostal Church in North Miami, OK.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Bob Whitecotton and Bill Whitecotton, 5 sisters, Euwenthia Edwards, Merle McCoy, Lois Miller, Joyce Fleming and Mary Mullen.
Georgia is survived by 2 sons, Kevin Sooter and wife Shannon of Diamond, MO and James O’Neal of Miami, OK, 2 daughters, Kim Kuester and husband Tony of Miami, OK and Karen Black and husband Jeff of Columbus, KS, 5 grandchildren, Kimberly Waldon, Tony Kuester, Jr., Tommy Webber, Katy Coats and Amber Childers and 5 great grandchildren, Kea Childers, Nevaeh Conrad, Makaelah Waldon, Grayson Heckmaster and Harper Kuester.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at New Day United Pentecostal Church in North Miami, OK. Pastor Bryan Stevenson will officiate. Interment will be in G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami, OK. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at New Day United Pentecostal Church in North Miami, OK.
