(From Parker Mortuary)Sue Ann Pace, age 64, of Wyandotte, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Freeman West Hosptial in Joplin.
Sue, daughter of the late Estel and Betty (Pequignot) Armer, was born on October 27, 1957 in Slaton, TX.
She worked in health care most of her life and was previously employed in hospitality working at the Rivera Hotel and the Sands Hotel in Joplin.
Sue was a devoted and caring mother and grandmother, always selflessly giving of herself to anyone in the family. She enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid collector of unicorns, dolls, and Elvis memorabilia. She loved to listen and dance to country music and take trips to the casino. Her favorite times spent with family were during the holidays, baking and making cookies, divinity and fudge. Sue will be missed by all her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Christen Hylton, of Springfield, and Cheyene Gordon, both of Joplin; grandchildren, Zachery Armer, Alexis Kearby, Hanna Leyda, Layla Gordon, Dalyn Baker, Ivy Gordon, Katy Gordon, and Makenzee Hylton; siblings, Tom Armer, and his wife, Brenda, Deborah Patterson, Steve Armer, and his wife, Rachel, Becky Ramsey, and her husband, Ryan, and Kenny Enochs, and his wife, Carrie; and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith Gordon, her sister, Cathy Davidson, and two grandchildren, Kelsey Armer, and Max Gordon.
The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Parker Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Parker Mortuary, Joplin.
