Words from her grandchildren;
Grandma loved to make jewelry. She loved roses and the color red. She loved to cook for us all. Those biscuits and gravy were the best! She always made our birthday cakes no matter how crazy our ideas were. She loved to spend time with us. She always came to our ball games, concerts, and anything we had going on. Grandma taught us to play dominos and rummy. She took us all over Sweet and Dry Buck on her four-wheeler. Whatever we needed she was there for us. To us, she will always be our “Pistol Packin’ Grandma”! We love you so much and will never forget you.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Lee Bixler, of Joplin; two children, Alice Haverly, and her husband Branden, of Joplin, and Joy Bixler, of Joplin; three grandchildren, Alice Paige, Rilee, and Landen; five siblings, Kurt Church and his wife Betty Jane, of Clatskanie, Oregon, Ray Church and his wife Sharon, of Emmett, Idaho, Elsie Brown and her husband Stan, of Emmett, Idaho, Harvey Church and his wife Myra, of Sweet, Idaho, Linda Bromgard and her husband Mel, of Sweet, Idaho; as well as several nieces and nephews.
