Gary D. Wuellner, age 83, Joplin, Missouri passed away Friday June 17, 2022, at The Communities of Wildwood following a decline in health.
Gary was born June 13, 1939, in Freistatt, Missouri to Dan Henry and Mildred Ora (Layman) Wuellner.
He was the owner of Wuellner Locksmith Service. He served in the United States Army Reserve 1960-1968. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church, Oronogo, Missouri. Gary enjoyed taking care of his orchard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Shirley Parris.
Gary is survived by his wife of 60 years, Willadean, two sons, David Wuellner of Duenweg, Missouri and Brian Wuellner of Duquesne, Missouri as well as numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday June 24, 2022, at Mason-Woodard Mortuary with Rev. Terri Haywood officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00-7:00pm Thursday at the mortuary.
In lieu of flowers contributions are request to First United Methodist Church of Oronogo, Missouri and may be sent in care of the mortuary.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mason-Woodard Mortuary & Crematory Joplin, Missouri.
