(From Clark Funeral Home)Rod Remington, age 66, of Neosho, Missouri, passed away at 11:18 a.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Freeman Hospital in Neosho. He was born June 12, 1956, in Omaha, Nebraska, the son of Charles and Maxine (Shaffer) Remington. Rod worked in road construction as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed canning, gardening, and going to bargain sales. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sisters Jillene York and her husband Charles of Neosho, Charlene Gregory and her husband David of Kohoka, Missouri; and nieces and nephews, Christen York, Dustin, Mellissa, and Kara Gregory.
His parents, Charles and Maxine Remington, and nephew Jason York preceded him in death.
A graveside service, under the direction of the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, a Kenney Cemetery in Neosho, with Dr. Jerry Siegel officiating. Friends may view Rod from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, in the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories.
