Joquetta “Jo” Myers, age 62, passed away at her home in Anderson, Mo on Monday June 13. 2022.

She was born November 21, 1959 to Charles Lewis and Marietta Townsend in Bentonville, Arkansas.

She loved having her grandchildren and great grandchild around her. She enjoyed going to yard sales and flea markets looking for Pillsbury Doughboy memorabilia, collecting Missouri Tiger memorabilia (They were the greatest), and antique jars. She also enjoyed going to the casinos.

 

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Traci Cook (Joe Finney) and Kelly Unwer (Josiah), her son Justin Myers (Alyssa McKee), her sister Patricia Crone (John), her brother Bill Lewis(Ada). Her 11 grandchildren Betty, Bethani, Marina, Claira, Rory, Michaela, Jocelyn, Hazel, Bentley, Braxton, and Riley. One greatgrandchild, William, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Joseph Myers, her brother Gary Lewis, and her boyfriend Bill Fargo whom she spent the last 29 years of her life with.

Memorial services for Joquetta will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Ozark Funeral Home, Anderson, Missouri, with Alyssa McKee officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 20, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at this time.
