(From Derfelt Funeral Home)Janet Marie Freeman, 59 of Baxter Springs, KS passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at her home in Baxter Springs.
Janet was born February 25, 1963 in Baxter Springs, KS to the union of Michael and Helen (Ipock) Goade.
At the age of 7 Janet and her family moved to Las Vegas, NV. Janet returned to the area years later to start her family and has lived in the area ever since.
Janet was employed by Labarge Corporation as a laborer. Janet enjoyed putting puzzles together and roughly had a collection of about 600 puzzles. She enjoyed hanging out with friends and family.
Janet is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Michael Goade Jr.
Janet is survived by two sons, Chris Freeman and wife Mandy of Oronogo, MO, and Jeremy Freeman and wife Sheena of Baxter Springs, KS; sister, Tammy Gibson of Las Vegas, NV; along with seven grandchildren and extended family.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Quaker Valley Cemetery, Riverton, KS. Pastor Shane Dotson will officiate. Online condolences may be expressed at www.derfeltfuneralhomes.com.
