(From Clark Funeral Home)Billy Junior Blanchard, age 86, of Neosho, Missouri, entered into rest on June 19, 2022, in Carthage, Missouri. Billy was born December 15, 1935, in Van Buren, Arkansas, the second oldest child of William Thomas and Beulah (Henderson) Blanchard. He graduated from high school in Arizona.
He opened Bill’s Auto Repair in Neosho in 1980 and owned and operated it until 2020. He also worked as the soundman for the ‘Granny Chick’s’ and was their biggest fan. He was a man of true grit.
In February of 1958 in Casa Grande, Arizona, Billy and Jane Ridgeway were united in marriage and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 63 years, Billy is survived by three children, Tim Blanchard and wife, Sandy; Marty Blanchard; Janeanna Dixon, and husband, Dale; grandchildren, Chad Blanchard, Zane Blanchard, Holly (Blanchard) Hurn, Heather Brown, Courtney Blanchard, Levi Blanchard, and Clay Blanchard; great-grandchildren, Jaycie Hurn, Blake Hurn, Brooklyn Blanchard, Heideigh Blanchard, Gracie Brown, Colton Brown, Madison Blanchard, and Jude Blanchard; sister-in-law, Bella Coleman, and numerous cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Memorial services are scheduled for 2 pm Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Phil Barber will officiate.
