Bradley Skaggs

Bradley Edward Lee Skaggs, 18, of Lanagan, Missouri, departed this life suddenly on Tuesday morning, November 15, 2022, from injuries sustained in a tow truck accident while responding to a call in Joplin, Missouri.

Bradley entered this life on May 27, 2004, in Joplin, born to the union of Brian and Nichole (Lukens) Skaggs. He was a lifelong resident of Lanagan and Noel, Missouri and was a 2022 graduate of McDonald County High School. 








Bradley grew up in the family towing business and was currently an operator for Ray’s Towing. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He was also a former cadet with the Noel Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Marsha Skaggs; an uncle, Allen Beck: an aunt, Christy Robertson; and step-grandmother, Debbie Koile.

Bradley is survived by his parents, Brian Skaggs and wife, Barbie, of Camden, Arkansas and Nichole Skaggs and Steve and Marcy Mitchell all of Lanagan; his fiancé, Piper Silvester of Anderson; three siblings, Dustin Lukens and wife, Tosha, of Anderson, Kasie Todd and husband, Connor, of Miami, Oklahoma and Amber Skaggs of Seneca, Missouri; step siblings, Madison, Ethan and Evan Abazid and Sarah Mitchell and husband, Thomas and Terah Mitchell; paternal grandfather, Samuel Skaggs of Noel; maternal grandparents, Terry and Camille Lukens of Afton, Oklahoma; step-grandparents, Ray Elma Mitchell of Lanagan; two nieces, Braelynn Lukens and Lindsay Bates both of Anderson; as well as a host of other family and numerous friends.








Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2022, in the Anderson Chapel of the Ozark Funeral Homes with James Stick officiating. Burial will follow in Butler Creek Cemetery near Sulphur Springs, Arkansas. 

Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Dustin Lukens, Travis Lukens, Samuel Murphy, Patrick O’Brien, Devon Hunnicutt, Jess Porter, Daniel Hudson and Jason Williams with Samuel Skaggs and Terry Lukens serving as honorary. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
