Stephen Dale Walker passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 15, 2022 at the age of 69. He is fondly remembered by family and friends for his kindness, gentleness, and good-natured humor. His loved ones dearly miss him, but find peace in knowing he has gone to be with the Lord and with his daughter, Jolene, who preceded him.
Steve practiced his Christian faith daily by showing grace and mercy and always extending an invitation to join him in worship at church.
Through hard work, he supported his family and provided a safe, loving home. Steve welcomed those in need of respite by offering a comfortable place to rest and always a seat at the table. Family gatherings gave Steve the opportunity to revisit favorite memories and will continue to be retold as cherished Walker tales.
Steve loved reading science-fiction and fantasy stories, tormenting the family pets, spoiling children with snacks and candies, fishing and warming himself by the fireplace. He also loved to rile up his siblings for the amusement of everyone else around. As with all good brothers and sisters, they would give as much as they got, all in good fun…mostly!

Above all else, Steve loved and adored JoAnn, his cherished wife of 46 years, and was a proud father and grandfather. His family meant the world to him, and it gave him great joy to share his life with
