(From Clark Funeral Home)Cathy Jean Browning, age 69, of Seneca, Missouri, passed away at 12:56 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. She was born May 9, 1953, in Neosho, Missouri, to the late Galen B. and Leila Jo (Fowler) Browning.
Cathy was a 1971 graduate of Neosho High School. She worked for 33 years as a nurse and, in recent years, worked as an over-the-road truck driver. Cathy loved spending time with her family, especially her son and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Andrew “Drew” (Rhiannon) Browning of Goodman, Missouri, two brothers, Mark Browning and Dale Mitchell of Joplin; three nephews, Brian Potter, Graham Ashcraft, and Wade Browning; three nieces, Kenna Lea Tuggle, Julie Guthrie, and Andrea Malcolm; six grandchildren, Rodney, Chris, Robin, Cameron, Jordan, and Maddison; and a host of dear family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the Clark Funeral Home in Neosho, with Pastor Evert Staib officiating.
