Henry "Coach Hank" Paskiewicz
Henry passed away peacefully in his home November 8th, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born April 28, 1930 in Chicago, IL.
Henry was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 68 years, Dolores Paskiewicz.
Henry is survived by sons Danny Paskiewicz of Siloam Springs, AR, Larry Paskiewicz, Peoria, AZ, and daughter Kerry Paskiewicz of Rio Rancho, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Henry played professional baseball for the Chicago Cubs organization from 1949-1955. (Editor's note: Mr. Paskiewicz played shortstop for the Carthage Cubs in 1949. He batted .283 with 16 doubles, two home runs, 72 RBI, 90 runs and 145 hits.) He also played for the Clovis Pioneers of the West Texas-NM League. Henry was a teacher and coach for the Albuquerque Public Schools for 32 years with Sandia High School being the last school he taught and coached baseball at before his retirement.
Henry was an avid tennis player. He loved sports and traveling.
Coach Hank will be deeply missed. We all loved him so. A celebration of life was held on November 10, 2022.
