Gary Miller

Gary Lew Miller, youngest child of the late Joseph and Alvera (Krouse) Miller, was born on April 3, 1947 in Caney, Kansas. He spent most of his life in Kansas and Oklahoma areas.

On November 25, 1967 he married Catherine Norton in Dixon, Missouri. To this union three children were born. Gary was saved at the Holiness Church in Dixon, Missouri and later sanctified. Gary and Kate drove many miles to the churches she pastored and the children and families they ministered. He was a member of the Wesleyan Holiness Alliance in Diamond, Missouri.








Gary went to heaven to be with his Savior and parents on November 15, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Alvera Miller; his mother and father-in-law Ina and Harold Norton; daughter-in-law, Sandra Miller; two brother-in-law’s; and four sister-in-law’s.

Left to mourning his passing is Catherine Miller, his wife of fifty-five years; children, Matthew Miller of Webb City, Missouri, Edward Miller and wife, Gina, of Sarcoxie, Missouri, Michelle (Miller) Gordon and husband Keith, of Bowling Green, Missouri and Joe Miller of Sarcoxie, Missouri; sister, Gloria Hunter, of Sarcoxie, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

Some of the last words he spoke ere to his physical therapist, he stated “I’m going to die and I’m going to heaven”.

Funeral services for Mr. Miller are 11:00 a.m. at the Wesleyan Holiness Alliance Church in Diamond, Missouri, with pastors Donny Hazelwood and Johnny Wade officiating. Burial will follow in VanBuren Cemetery, Wentworth, Missouri. 








Those honoring his life by serving as pallbearers are Allen Miller, Brandon Denbeck, Dustin Eastin, Kevin Gordon, James Gordon and Danny Hunter. Honorary pallbearers are Steve Miller and Brian Miller. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
