James Ceselski

James Edward Ceselski, 70, of Monett was called to his Heavenly home on Tuesday November 15, 2022. He was born in Pierce City, Missouri on July 2, 1952; the son of the late Edmund and Mary Margaret (Saenger) Ceselski. He was united in marriage on June 4, 1977 in Monett to Marilyn Campbell; she survives.

He worked for Schreiber Foods in Monett for 41 years and was a member of the Pierce City National Guard, St. Lawrence Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. James was a very devout Catholic. He enjoyed sharing and teaching his faith to teenager as well as adults through the PSR and RCIA programs.








James is survived by his wife Marilyn; one son: Jason Ceselski and his wife Ashley of Purdy; one daughter: Meghan Ceselski of Monett; one brother: Richard Ceselski and his wife Madeline of Monett; and one sister: Judy Holden and her husband Rick of Neosho. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Mary Margaret and one sister: Karen Garrett and her husband Larry.








Visitation for James is being held on Monday November 21, 2022 from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri. Rosary is being held at 8:00p.m. after visitation on Monday November 21, 2022. Funeral Mass is being held on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at the St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Monett, Missouri with Father Rahab Isidor officiating. Burial will follow Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Monett, Missouri.

Memorial donations for James may be made to the St. Lawrence School or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri.
