(From Paul Thomas Funeral Home)Harse “Ed” Edward Waters, Jr. of Quapaw, OK passed from this life Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Maple Healthcare in Fairland, OK. He was 81.
Ed was born September 17, 1941 in Picher, OK to Harse Edward and Vera Marie (Hill) Waters, Sr. He had lived in the Picher and Quapaw area all his life. He served in the U.S. Army.
He had worked maintenance for B.F. Goodrich in Miami, OK, Tamko in Joplin, MO and for Ottawa County. Ed was a member of Bethel Freewill Baptist Church in Picher, OK and served as Sunday School Superintendent.
Ed was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Sandra Jean Waters, 1 grandson, Kody Waters, his parents and 1 sister, Dorothy Helms.

Survivors include his wife Margaret Jean (Lyerla) Waters of the home, 1 son, Craig Waters and wife Susan of Galena, KS, 1 daughter, Marsha Elaine Arnold of Bartlesville, OK, 2 sisters, Wanda Sue Bunce of Quapaw, OK and Sally Kay Brandon of Quapaw, OK, 4 grandchildren, Corey Edward Waters, Colton Levi Waters, Natasha Waters and Jessica Houston and 2 great great grandchildren, Madison Marie Waters and Christy Waters.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Galena, KS. Rev. Ray Clonts will officiate.
