(From Clark Funeral Home)Elmo C. Crosby was born January 16, 1927, in Anderson, Missouri, to Ernest Lee and Martha (Lewis) Crosby. He entered into rest on June 9, 2023, in Joplin, Missouri, at the age of 96.
Elmo was a lifelong area resident of the Splitlog Community and was a cattle and crop farmer.
On September 1, 1951, in Goodman, Missouri, he married Alma Joann Campbell and she survives.
In addition to his wife of 71 years, Elmo is survived by a sister, Eloise Smith of Neosho; one brother, Karon Crosby and wife, Peggy of Ottawa, Kansas; sister-in-law, Edna Crosby of Joplin, Missouri and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Crosby; sister, Maxine Shaver and brothers-in-laws, Marion Shaver and Henry Smith.
Services will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, at the Clark Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, Pastor Shan Cobb, assisted by Pastor Trent Cook and Mark Hall will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Neosho Memorial Park Cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be John Sarratt, Bryan Hall, Mark Hall, Adam Wimpey, Jeff Shaver and Travis Shaver. Honorary pallbearers are Warren Townsend and Ronnie Rogers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 7 pm at the Clark Funeral Home, Neosho, Missouri. Contributions in memory of Elmo may be made to the Splitlog Baptist Church, c/o Clark Funeral Home, PO Box 66; Neosho, Missouri 64850.
